I know exposure therapy is good for anxiety but depression? Everton fans surely know the root of their issues.
I think there was enough in that last few games, once Di Zerbi got them fired up, to show they will move forward. The signings they have made are all serious players (although Robertson may get found out a little more this season), and having spent a lot already, it's hard to believe they won't spend more... I think there's a lot of points going 'free' this season, the promoted teams haven't impressed me yet, Fulham and Palace are very slow on recruiting, and both are weaker than last season (particularly in terms of management), Brenford and Bournemouth can only fly so high for so long, Brighton's luck will run out eventually... Newcastle are relying on some young players coming good very fast... My lads are relying on being able to play at the same level of intensity with Europe as they did last season without it... The one on that list that I have most doubts about is Chelsea. They are still all over the place, with no idea who they are, and didn't manage to land Alonso's #1 transfer target... Could be fun.WOW Benj, you giving us high expectation after the last season and player exodus/mess.
Predictions - I shall wait little more till ingoings/outgoings get more settled.
ripoff Stansport have LFC V Wrexham tomorrow.
Very surprised about the timing of it all but given the departures, not surprised that he wouldn't want to stay.Howes left Toon.
Pretty big news but with their departures so far can see how he’s thought the task has become impossible.
Damn, the unthinkable did happen. By “unthinkable” I mean possible at literally any other club, but I expected them to keep backing him as they’ve done every other season.Howes left Toon.
This shouldn’t really be a hot take but I can see them finishing below Sunderland again. The women’s team I think could get promoted though.Pretty big news but with their departures so far can see how he’s thought the task has become impossible.
Mind you he persisted long enough.Very surprised about the timing of it all but given the departures, not surprised that he wouldn't want to stay.
no not trend but utilising from your own portfolio - especially this close to the season.Looks like Newcastle are going for a very young manager.
Seems to be the trend.

I agree good to see fresh younger ones getting key appointments, the proven older prospects are locked in/up.
Its all getting pretty thin grabbing a experienced proven gaffa today.
Mid age proven ones would cost a bomb - no point paying big till you've got some decent players in the ranks.
I'd say Jaissle is a filler for now, try to settle the change, a couple of transfer windows and they'll look for an upgrade for lets face it, crystal ball where will they be on the ladder by late Dec for eg ?
If Eddie Howe wasnt English, few would rate him... He's been given 5 years to develop the squad his way, has had the 6th highest net transfer spend over that time, and had the 8th highest wages in the Prem last year, yet still finished 12th behind multiple teams with far lower spending on transfers and wages. Has one tactical setting and doesnt sign players suited to it. They even let him hire his cousin/nephew (can't remember) to handle the transfers last season - and that went terribly.
I considered putting them lower on my list, but assumed it was my natural anti-mag bias and faught the temptation.
I agree. A Bournemouth type size of club is probably his level.
Wait till the 3 Lions talks rear their head again.
Knowing you were called LFC, I've no idea why I thought you were meaning Spurs... Anyway - Slot defiantely under performed with that squad. Defence is a bit of a mess, but if the new guy can tidy that up, the style of football he plays, your attacking options should be fun to watch.Benj, to clarify I was meaning LFC being your 3rd place prediction.
As much as I have faith in Andoni correcting the offSlot ways we have quite a few holes to fill yet.
As much as its nice seeing Jnrs come in they lack the experience/nouse crucial games.
Agree DeZerbi I rate, Spurs should recover the very least and spent $'s mind you we spent a motza look what happened lol......
Rest of your summary rings true and sure I expect fun highs and lows, typical football supporting.
Lets see how Arsenal back up as well.
Good luck to yours, luv the clubs of old when I was a kid.
