High Volpato Voltage

Volpato news is going global. Big outlets in Europe now running with the story

Lets call'im Aussie, he's been cleared now otherwise, he's from that other country..

Ever is probably an overstatement.

Yeah but he hasn’t actively liked posts questioning Port Arthur. I think we should also strongly distinguish between types of conservatives. It’s unfair to lump Bridget Archer with Fraser Anning, though unfortunately some on the more loony left do that.
Volapto will potential go above Sainsbury for Australia but he has a lot of work to do.

Are those Sainsbury posts verified or did he just accidentally click the like bottom like Volpato accidently posted that emoji. It takes less to like accidentally than post something.

Well he did put some weird stuff on his story. Putting something on your story on Instagram requires three clicks: share, story, post. Plus he typed one of them out by hand so unless he got hacked multiple times (in that case he needs a new password) I’m pretty sure it’s him.

Art and artist though, I won’t defend conspiracy theories or misinformation but I still appreciate what he did in a Socceroos shirt.

Translation (done by me):

Title: “Australian Cristian Volpato arrested for speeding, tests positive for cocaine just days after returning home from World Cup” (AP Style)

“Cristian Volpato, an Australian former Roma player who has played for Sassuolo since 2023, has been arrested by police in Sydney and has also tested positive for cocaine, reports The Guardian. His licence has been suspended for six months.”

No ones spiked the kid with cocaine, how does that even metabolise in a drink? lol

Dude probably racked up coming back from an event with his goofy looking friends and that's the end of that.

The urine test would be independent, the last test police does takes multiple weeks so probs just media damage control there. His camp also can't claim spiking but also claim he took nothing, doesn't really make sense, just go with one story lads and move on.

Maybe he one of those new oxyshred 7/11 cans that turn up as meth on roadside tests. His secondary test with police would of shown up as positive otherwise they wouldn't have suspended his international license so that's two tests he would have failed.

Ok so if the urine test is negative did a) the police do that & did b ) how long does coke stay in your system & c ) how long do urine tests take to come back from pathology?

This seem awfully fast from allegations to reports of urine tests being cleared.

Police don’t do urine tests for cocaine with traffic offences unless trying to pin someone for some very serious crimes eg obviously manslaughter etc. It would be a test that you can buy at Chemist Warehouse and do at home.

The third test which the police send off to a third party takes 3-4 weeks to come back.

I have had this happen to me, third party came back negative because I been waiting 7 years for the result LOL.

Footballers doing a bit of coke in the offseason?
Just great! the Italians a junkie and led foot. Don't want him near the Socceroos - we don't need trash for our kids to look up to.

A footballer doing a bit of coke in the off-season and driving his car a bit too fast? Hardly makes him uniquely "trash." If every country banned players for this sort of thing, there'd be no international players left.....

I mean, I wouldn't do it personally.

But I'm more of a “two beers and home by 10” kind of criminal.

Yes that is criminal home by 10 :)

Cocaine can typically be detected in saliva (oral fluid) during a roadside drug test for roughly 1 to 3 days (24 to 72 hours) after use, though exact detection depends on usage frequency and metabolism.

Disgusting to see the victim blaming going on. Imagine having your drink spiked, then you do something silly, because your drink was spiked (twice probably) and people think you’re the bad guy. Wow. Society has truely gone mad
