Decent move! Liga BPI isn’t amazing quality and Benfica win it every season but she’ll be seen by other European clubs while over there.

Ella Tonkin joining Matilda McNamara in plying her trade in Portugal heading into season 2026-27 and could make her competitive debut for the side against Annalise Rasmussen and Juventus on August 5th local time in the UWCL second qualifying round, but it's not known how long she'll be under contract for yet.

Perth Glory are on the lookout for midfield reinforcements after confirming Player of the Year Tijan McKenna has left the club.

Tijan McKenna is headed to Valerenga from Perth Glory, where she'll become teammates with Hana Lowry. It's not known how long she'll be under contract at the side for yet but she could make her competitive debut for them in the UWCL second qualifying round on August 5th.

Sarah O'Donoghue will be playing at a similar level to Member Federation comps though as she's moving to a side that's bottom of the Chinese second division which would be a similar standard to NPLW Victoria or New South Wales, but she should still be getting consistent game time as opposed to only being a fringe player in the Dub.

As results currently stand Shanxi Xihua are on course to win the spoon given how close to season's end it is and I doubt that Sarah O'Donoghue will be getting game time yet because all the regulatory processes and international clearance still have to go through successfully first.

Grace Johnston to Charlton Athletic is now a done deal and she makes the move overseas from Perth Glory for the first time in her career. She'll be under contract at the side for the next two seasons through the end of WSL season 2027-28 with an option for 2028-29.

Interesting!!! Wonder if Erin Kontoutsikos will play next year or if she’ll go back to the NPLW SA. The A Division isn’t a great league (especially outside the top teams, AEK and PAOK) but it’s a good experience.
