Yeah pretty much. When the NSL was killed off I was busy getting married, renovating a house, having kids... Tried going to the VPL a few times back then, was at the very first match in 2006 against Heidelberg along with a crowd of 11k but a few months later the crowds were terrible..You walked away for 8 years, mmmmmmm.
It is what it is re... this season will go down in history for one reason or another......Highly jittery about tonights match!
All good, Ive got it on my phone as a "character reference" in case we end up going to court. HAHAHAHAHAI've got a clear copy of it happy to send it to you
I dont think its as difficult as you say to climb into top 6... whether we do something once there is a different matter altogether. The events of last week sucked the energy out of me. Im just not fussed about tonight. I'd be nervous if we were close to the bottom 3 but our run home is so difficult i dont see a way into the top 6.
Our 2 short term objectives should be 1) dont get embarassed at home by Preston 2) Beat Adelaide.

Bergers, Georgies and Melbourne City will all need to take points off each other and we still get a crack at both Gerogies and Melbourne City. Bergers also still have to play Avondale and Hume... its not easy but a result tonight may be a lifeline. Our run home is something like dandy city, preston, oakleigh, st albans, melb city, bergers and george cross.
I see maybe 2 wins the rest of the way if we lose tonight.
Preston have the easiest run home. Lakeside is their final away game.

Agreed... Just an absolute, self inflicted, disaster. All we can do is hope the new recruits bring a change of fortune. Im impressed with Yoo so far and think, once he develops a rhythm with Yuki, they will be a great combo. I also think Juach and Swibel can form a complimentary strike pair although I think if it was Juach and Bonada up top we would have been almost supernatural. Retre HAS to be a stabilising force surely? I briefly chatted to him on Sunday and he is nice guy.I think we would have to win tonight to stay alive. Not even a draw helps us.
Those altona and gully loses are so horrible to look back on.

It is so bloody annoying that we dropped 6 points to those bang average teams especially at home. I mean we beat both of them away with hardly any senior players earlier in the season !Those altona and gully loses are so horrible to look back on.
Didn't think about the 'voting' angle .....So your solution to being unhappy with the leadership is to abstain from voting?
Thats what is causing the mess over in Trumpmenistan. Apathy.
Keep the faith brother. Its been a crazy few weeks at Hellas. Let's hope we can win tonight and get some positivity back around the club. The events of last week sucked the energy out of me.
This too shall pass...... In 6 months time well be talking about how we go about doing a 3-peat for the Australian Championship and how the hell we are going to manage playing in two overseas tournaments at once and still defend our NPL crownKeep the faith brother. Ok, we'll leave it at that then.Yeah pretty much. When the NSL was killed off I was busy getting married, renovating a house, having kids... One thing led to another and I didn't watch any live SENIOR football (apart from a couple of Socceroos matches and 2 ill fated attempts to watch an Aleague match). I still followed the results but just sort of stepped away as I focused on work and young family.
Started going back to a few home games in 2012-13 and got hooked again when NPL started.. Dont miss many matches these days home or away.
If you are questioning my loyalty pal, you're barking up the wrong tree, I bleed blue and white.
How do you want me to send it to youplease
