What are your thoughts on the NRL?
 
hehe Q - I can't help myself re afl, never liked it find it so over hyped load of bollocks gaelic hybrid handball, oh footy, they play with the hands lol........
Nothing much re NRL also - being in NSW more familiar with and long long ago I watched a bit but not since mid 90's do I watch many games, infact only the "events" SOO and maybe a finals game.
IF something on no fuss I don't care I never go out of my way.
I do find that game more brutal to watch at least - bit of biffo and hard tackling some are back breakers when I see them on the news but IF football or golf or motor racing on I'm there.
 
I've seen the insecure AFL zombies crawl out of the woodwork on Twitter over the past 24 hours, as well as some deadshit from some cowpoke town(Donald, I'd not heard of it before) in VIC writing in to the Herald-Sun having a sook that his inherently-"superior" AFL game isn't known by 99.9% of the global populace.

It's worth noting that to the utter best of my recollection, there really wasn't much at all of this carry-on during Qatar '22...and frankly that's no coincidence💡
 
They're always there but the anti football crowd from other codes are flooding the socials too.
 
On the one hand I enjoy the positive messages but I hate the sudden influx of ads and caring by prominent types who have the ability to affect change for the game. The politicians come for the photoshoot but where's the big investment and infrastructure?
 
You can hear them all shaking in their boots now...only football can produce moments of sheer elation on mass like today.

Quite literally the beautiful world game.
