NPL 2026

A great insight to what it is like supporting this great club from an outsider's perspective.

The hospitality, club facilities, restaurant feed is the best in the league.

And what might surprise a lot of people is how many non-croats support the club.
Respectful disagreement about it being the best hospitality offering in the league..very stiff competition from the club down the road imo but definitely a great offering.

Wasn’t that British bloke doing a weekly mathday blog a few years back. Seen him out in the civilian world sporting his vintage Sydney Croatia kits. Good on him for supporting Australian soccer

A quick aside btw, I’m not gonna pretend that the vast majority of the crowd weren’t supporting the home team at that match, but that little group of Marconi fans with the Italian flags wasn’t the extent of Marconi support in the crowd. There was a notable smattering mixed in/mingling with the general crowd aswell. Again, good on that group who seem to have persisted week in week post aus championship and into the npl, but most of those guys apart from a couple of the “founders” are relative new comers. But again, good on em for deciding to throw their support behind a traditional club

In the video they briefly show some of the singing from the old heads in the boka stand which I mentioned post game at the time. Too bad they didn’t catch more of it. Was very impressive

No need for crowd segregation etc again, good on that group who seem to have persisted week in week post aus championship and into the npl, but most of those guys apart from a couple of the “founders” are relative new comers. yeah, but i'm bias, King tom offers up authentic Croatian food and cheap drinks.

Im not going to go into Marconi and eat Chinese food am i?

and when you go to king tom on match day, you know everyone is there for the game too and make their way down. Unlike at marconi, they are all stuck on pokie machines.

I tend to agree no disrespect Glenardo.
I have no care hanging in the Palace.
I like the low esteem surrounds like Lambert Park :) hahaha Leichardt also might I add and same applies, you and everyone is there for the game !
King Tom also has that local small ground feel !

Agree to disagree. I like all of them, but the claim was re which club facilities/hospitality offerings are the best. On that metric I think you’d struggle find better than the Marconi club nationally no matter what you think of Marconi overall, that’s probably one of the clubs greatest strengths. I don’t hang out there on non match days either fwiw, I don’t live in the area

Incidentally, from the recent Italian republic day event hosted at the Marconi club if anyones interested. Good on the club for putting on these events, one of multiple annual italian cultural festivals like this that they host every year

Michael Vakis & Issac Cunningham gone to St.George Saints

Sutherland have signed a striker Diego Vanila i believe, played in Uruguay recently.
Jeez a 36 year old from the Urugyuan Second Division... sometimes I really wonder how our NPL scouts find these guys lol
Reminds me of Northcote finding Yuki Uchida in the Maltese league... a Japanese guy coming from Malta to Victoria to play VPL1 lol

We have some smart scouts

expect that but as said - which club has the best offerings - some like simple/r as best.
