No game time for Charli Grant, who was an unused substitute for Spurs in their scoreless WSL draw with Manchester United.

Sign Up Now!To be honest I don’t think the Northern Super League is a step up from the ALW.NEW AUSSIE ABROAD: TORI TUMETH!!!
Tori Tumeth has signed for Vancouver Rise in the Northern Super League!!!
At the moment it’s quite similar, they just get paid more over there. This is precisely why we need professionalism here. We also need to adequately replace her here at Sydney FC.To be honest I don’t think the Northern Super League is a step up from the ALW.
Probably a silly question I know but does the ALW have a salary cap?At the moment it’s quite similar, they just get paid more over there. This is precisely why we need professionalism here. We also need to adequately replace her here at Sydney FC.
In saying that, I’m happy for her to get the opportunity to go and explore the world plus potentially end up at a club in south of the border in the US, and happier that her leaving meant she went overseas rather than to boost the stocks of a rival club at home. Of the two moves from Sydney so far I’d say Hana Lowry got the better move going to Vålerenga. While the rest of the Toppserien is A-League level or worse, Brann and Vålerenga are top is there a salary cap for the ALW ?
$25,000? They are gonna have to start asking for tips like US waitresses soon.Probably a silly question I know but does the ALW have a salary cap?
I know the base wage is around $ 25,000 but can richer clubs like Melbourne City pay their players whatever they want?
Many of them have to take second jobs.$25,000? They are gonna have to start asking for tips like US waitresses soon.
The Dub has a salary cap of $640k but it's likely that only the marquee players at a side like Melbourne City are being paid well above the base wage.Probably a silly question I know but does the ALW have a salary cap?

So does that create an unequal competition given that most players are having to juggle playing, training and travelling to games whilst also having to take second jobs just to exist. The Dub has a salary cap of $640k but it's likely that only the marquee players at a side like Melbourne City are being paid well above the base wage.
You rarely see huge wins (4–0 or more) in the Dub, even in games like City vs Wanderers, so I’d say no. The players probably put in more effort week in week out knowing they could get a raise. Either way it’s gotta change, they have to be paid at least $100,000 if not much more per year. If they’re only making $25,000 a year on average then I make more far money than the average Dub player which is crazy cause I’m an ordinary bloke in Sydney. So does that create an unequal competition given that most players are having to juggle playing, training and travelling to games whilst also having to take second jobs just to exist.
